MORRIN CENTER

The Morrin Centre building retains architectural evidence of its past as Quebec City's first common gaol (1808-1868), a Presbyterian college affiliated with McGill University (1868-1900), as well as magnificent, Victorian library (1868-present). Set in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Quebec, the building has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada. Today, the Centre is managed by Canada's oldest learned society, the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec (1824-present).

Magnificent rooms, including the LHSQ's library, are available for events of all kinds. The Morrin Centre is located close to Auberge Place d'Armes.
